Inspired by Kate and William, we are taking the plunge on Friday’s HearSay with Cathy Lewis.  Today's the big day for Great Britain! In the early hours of our time zone, Prince William and Catherine Middleton will wed at Westminster Abbey in London. What did you think of the wedding?  Did you watch it live? We'll talk with HearSay's favorite foodie Patrick Evans-Hylton about a food industry that defines Hampton Roads, it's seafood.  On Wednesday's HearSay, we'll take a look at what's done locally to keep our waters healthy to sustain the seafood industry here and we'll explore the various offerings at local restaurants and fish markets.  We'll also broaden it out a bit to see what seafoods are imported and exported, as well as how we can know what's on the shelves is safe.

Hampton Roads has a prime time spot to observe one our world's wonders - the Atlantic Ocean.  Award-winning author Michael D’Orso has co-written a new book, "Oceana: Our Endangered Oceans and What We Can Do to Save Them," with actor/environmental advocate Ted Danson ("Cheers").  The book is packed with photos, charts and interviews with scientists, fishing boat captains and those working to help the vast bodies of water called oceans. Despite being shot four times, Colin Goddard is one of the few survivors of the Virginia Tech shootings in Norris Hall four years ago. After a long and difficult recovery, he began volunteering with the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, the nation’s largest gun control organization. On Tuesday’s program, Colin joins Cathy to talk about his work as an advocate for victims of gun violence, which took him on an undercover investigation of the gun industry.
