This year, Progress Virginia kicked off their initiative to live stream General Assembly sessions, allowing citizens to get an in-depth look at the crafting of Virginia legislation. Today, we're talking with Progress Virginia about their new government transparency effort and check in on the latest legislation coming out of Richmond.

Today's Guests:

ANNA SCHOLL – Is the Executive Director of Progress Virginia. Their new “Eyes on Richmond” program puts cameras and live feeds in most General Assembly committee hearings, in an effort to bring transparency to the legislative body. Live feeds are viewable here
BRIAN CANNON - Is the Executive Director of OneVirginia2021, the organization brings together concerned citizens from all over the Commonwealth to reenergize forces for fair, non-partisan redistricting. Their deadline is 2021 when the General Assembly will sign the state and
DR. WENDY KLEIN – Is the Medical Director of Health Brigade in Richmond, formerly called Fan Free Clinic, the oldest free clinic in Virginia, and serves on the Virginia Board of Health. She is Board certified in Internal Medicine and has devoted her career to improving women’s health. At Virginia Commonwealth University, she co-founded the VCU Women’s Health Center, the VCU Institute for Women’s Health, and the Women’s Health Track in Internal Medicine
