Plant-based meat products are undergoing a renaissance, with new brands like Impossible and Beyond attempting to mimic the taste and texture of animal meat. Cathy Lewis will talk to a reporter from The Washington Post about the industry's growth, and what cattle ranchers are doing in response. Then, we will talk to the executive director of the Plant Based Food Association about the benefits of the meatless products, and local doctor Ryan Light will let us know if the veggie options are a healthy choice. Later, Gary LeBlanc will return to the show to talk about Mercy Chefs. After that, Dave Tolleris from WxRisk will tell us what to expect from Hurricane Dorian. Join our conversation at noon.
