At Old Dominion University, the President's Lecture Series serves as a marketplace for ideas, featuring fascinating personalities who share their knowledge, experience, opinions and accomplishments. In advance of her March 4th engagement entitled: "Sports as a Mirror of Our 21st Century Society: Big Money, Big Personalities, Big Stories," award-winning 
USA Today sports columnist, Christine Brennan, joins us live to discuss her experience at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.

Segment B: A Biographer's Biography
Some would call hime the greatest literary biographer of our time; who are we to argue?  The acclaimed author who has tackled the lives of literary giants like Jackson, Yates and Cheever has set his sights on his own life in his latest work, "The Splendid Things We've Planned."  Today, ODU's own Blake Bailey joins us to discuss the challenges of viewing his own upbringing through a biographer's lens.
