Tuesday, May 20, 2014 Waterways: A Terrible Thing to Waste Don’t let your neighborhood—and our local waterways—go to the dogs! Pet waste left on the ground is a leading cause of pollution in the region’s rivers, streams and bay, so environmental organizations have joined forces with local animal shelters and animal rights organizations to encourage citizens to clean up after their pets.
