A new report from Wetlands Watch shows a 78 to 188 year backlog to fix flooded homes in our region, and those repairs come with quite a price tag: four hundred and thirty-one million dollars. Though the numbers do represent a significant hurdle for the region, there's good news in the form of nearly ten thousand jobs that a coastal resilience industry could create.  We'll take a closer look at the report's findings with Wetlands Watch Executive Director, Skip Stiles.

Governor McAuliffe's Commission to Ensure Integrity and Public Confidence in State Government was created primarily in response to the conviction last month of former Gov. Bob McDonnell and his wife, Maureen, on public corruption charges, but a new issue is taking prominence. When a panel of three federal judges ruled that Virginia's 3rd U.S. House District was racially gerrymandered, the issue of bipartisan redistricting rose to the top of the commission’s to-do list.  Today we'll consider how efforts aimed at bipartisan redistricting in the Commonwealth could unfold.
