Internships: "Career Netter" or "Coffee Getter"
A decade ago internships were regarded as an effective way to make yourself more marketable after college. However, in the midst of this increasingly competitive job market, more and more applicants are finding themselves all but unmarketable without one.  Opponents argue that interns are little more than "free labor," while proponents maintain that they receive invaluable career experience.  Join us as host Cathy Lewis considers both sides of the conversation and we examine the plight of the modern intern.

Scheduled Guests:

Heather R. Huhman - Author, "Lies, Damned Lies & Internships: The Truth About Getting from Classroom to Cubicle"

Libby Westley - Director, Center for Career Planning at Christopher Newport University

Nedda Najand - Former Intern
